Melissa Clark

Melissa Clark is responsible for the overall financial well being of Chicago-based Primera Engineers. She leads all aspects of the corporate accounting and finance functions with a primary focus on strategic planning, budgeting, financial analysis, process improvement, and cash management. She also mentors

and leads the team responsible for the day-to-day accounting and finance efforts including invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.

Melissa’s expertise is the result of more than 25 years in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry and over 20 years as a Controller. Prior to Primera, she served as Controller for two Milwaukee-based architectural and engineering firms.

An advocate in the community, she serves as Treasurer of the Primera Foundation, sits on the Board of Directors for Green City Market as Board Treasurer, and is an active member of Chicago United. She also is the recipient of FEI’s 2021 Chicago CFO of the Year for Small Private Companies.

Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting Management and an MBA from Alverno College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
