Fernando Martinez

Fernando Martinez has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Most recently, they served as the Director of Project Management at Urban Health Plan, Inc. since September 2018. Prior to that, they held the position of Director at The Osborne Association from February 2015 to September 2018. Fernando also worked as the Senior Director at The Fortune Society from July 2014 to February 2015. Before this, Fernando was the Vice President of Operations at Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation (RIOC) from June 2007 to December 2012. Fernando also served as the Executive Director at SUNY Downstate Medical Center from May 2001 to May 2007. Additionally, they worked as a Community Builder at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development from September 1998 to May 2001. Furthermore, Fernando has held various roles including Project Director at Northern Manhattan Improvement Corporation (NMIC), Senior Program Manager at The Bronx Overall Economic Development Corporation, and Capital Program Coordinator at the State of NY Metropolitan Transportation Authority. Fernando Martinez earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Iona University in the years 1984 to 1988. Following that, they pursued a Master of Public Administration - MPA degree from Columbia University, studying from 1988 to 1990.
