Paul Garrin

Paul Garrin joined Urban Health Plan as chief information officer in 2019 to oversee information technology, telecom and clinical systems operations at all UHP sites.

He is a hands-on IT leader skilled in the implementation and execution of computerized systems, IT operations, human capital, process improvement, and the engagement of technology professionals. For the past 22 years, he has been an ambulatory, hospital, health system CIO and a multi-industry CIO consultant. His previous IT experience was in the financial services industry where he worked as an AVP, IT Director, project manager and developer. He is highly process oriented with superb communication skills and a focus on IT road maps, architecture, operations, project management, governance, compliance and budget.

Paul is a graduate of Fordham University and has a bachelor’s degree in political science with studies in computer science, and a master’s degree in public affairs with a concentration in statistics. He speaks French fluently.
