Director of Community School Initiatives at Urban Initiatives

Tiffany dedicates her time to overseeing the quality and impact of Urban Initiatives’ Community School Initiatives Programming. She is responsible for the development, oversight, and improvements of the annual department operational plan to drive the achievement of all program goals. More specifically, she manages key performance indicators (e.g. number of youth reached, youth engagement and retention, increase and maintenance of program quality measures, etc.), guides quality improvement strategies, develops program team culture and staff, ensures school partner satisfaction, and maintains contract compliance. She collaborates with other members of the leadership team and supervises all Program Managers and Resource Coordinators on the 21st Century Learning team to support them in the achievement of their goals.

Tiffany Washington is an experienced people leader who’s passionate about growth and development. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Illinois @ Champaign, and spent the last decade of her career building and leading high performance teams at Kaplan University. Tiffany is from the Austin neighborhood on the West Side of Chicago and is proud to be contributing to the community through her work as the Director of 21st Century Learning
