Alexandra Tammaro

Alexandra Tammaro is an accomplished editorial specialist with extensive experience in various roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving at The Urban Institute since November 2018, Alexandra has held managerial and support positions at Tryst and Counter Culture Coffee, respectively. Prior experience includes serving as an assistant to the head of the literature department and writing consultant at American University, as well as a library technician at the University of Florida. Alexandra holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Anthropology from the University of Florida and a Master of Arts in Literature from American University. Additional educational credentials include an editing certification from the University of Chicago and ongoing studies at General Assembly, supplemented by involvement with the American Copy Editors Society.
