Kathryn Pettit is a Principal Research Associate at The Urban Institute, where Kathryn has worked since 1996. In addition to this role, Kathryn has served as the Director of the National Neighborhood Indicators Partnership (NNIP) since 2008, facilitating access to data and promoting equity across neighborhoods in collaboration with partner organizations in 30 cities. Kathryn is also a member of the DC Open Government Advisory Group since 2014 and previously held positions including Board Member for the Association of Public Data Users from 2012 to 2018 and Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Community Indicators Consortium from 2009 to 2012. Kathryn Pettit holds a GPPP in Public Policy and a BSFS in International Humanities, both from Georgetown University, completed in 1997 and 1992, respectively.
