Paula Blackett

Paula Blackett currently serves as Principal Researcher at Urban Intelligence since October 2024. Prior to this role, Paula spent eight years as an Environmental Social Scientist at NIWA from January 2016 to October 2024, and in the capacity of Social Scientist at AgResearch for a decade from July 2005 to December 2015. Academically, Paula holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Human Geography/Freshwater Biology from The University of Auckland, obtained between 2000 and 2004, and a Master of Science (MSc) in Resources and Environmental Planning with an Ecology major from The University of Waikato, completed from 1991 to 1996.
