Urban Land Conservancy (ULC), a nonprofit organization established in 2003, uses real estate as a tool to benefit urban communities. In much the same way that a land trust preserves open space for future generations, we preserve community assets in urban areas to ensure their continued benefit.

Our mission is to acquire, develop, and/or preserve community assets in urban areas for a variety of community needs such as schools, affordable housing, and office space for nonprofits.
  
Our assets consist of real estate and significant seed capital to be leveraged using public and private sources for future community investment.
    
Our work includes land banking and community-inspired real estate development or, more concisely, community development.

The Leadership Team at Urban Land Conservancy is responsible for steering the organization's strategic vision and operational excellence. Comprising the Vice President of Impact and Engagement, the Former President of The Piton Foundation, the Chief Operating Officer, the Chief Financial Officer, and the Senior Vice President of Real Estate, this team guides ULC's efforts in acquiring, developing, and preserving urban community assets. They ensure that ULC's initiatives align with its mission to support community needs, such as affordable housing, schools, and nonprofit office spaces, by leveraging real estate and seed capital for impactful community development.
