Benji Shin

Benji Shin is an experienced professional in architecture and real estate development, currently serving as an Executive Committee Member for the Urban Land Institute South Korea Chapter since January 2024. As the CEO and Co-founder of Zenerate since May 2020, Benji leads a venture-backed proptech startup that specializes in AI-powered feasibility solutions for real estate development in the US. Prior experience includes roles as a Project Architect at HKS, Inc., where contributions were made to the French Market Project, and as an Architectural Designer at Harley Ellis Devereaux, involved in significant projects such as Century Plaza Development and USC Village Phase 1B Student Housing. Additionally, Benji was a speaker at BILT NA, presenting on generative design in space planning. Educational qualifications include a Master in Architecture from Harvard University and architecture studies at ETH Zürich.
