Kelsey Steffen, AICP, currently serves as Executive Director of Advisory Services at the Urban Land Institute, with a tenure beginning in October 2019. Kelsey has held multiple positions within the organization, including Vice President, Senior Director, and Director of Advisory Services. Prior to this, Kelsey worked as a Real Estate Advisor at TTR Sotheby’s International Realty and as an Associate Planner for Arlington County. Additional experience includes roles as a Land Use Planner at Reston Association and an Associate Transportation Planner at Nelson\Nygaard Consulting Associates. Kelsey has also contributed to municipal projects in San Jose and Palo Alto, and has a background in planning through a graduate internship and research assistantship at UC Berkeley. Kelsey holds a Master's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from California State University, Chico.
