Joanne J.

Joanne J. currently serves as the Service Integration & Quality Assurance Division Manager at the Urban League of Broward County and the Respite Program Manager at Smith Community Mental Health, both since October 2022. Previously, Joanne held the role of Independent Programmatic Consultant at Children's Services Council of Broward County and worked as a Service Coordinator at Gene B. Glick Company, where leadership focused on enhancing resident experiences in Fort Lauderdale. Additional experience includes serving as Program Coordinator at Memorial Healthcare System, facilitating after school programs, and providing mental health therapy at various organizations, including AMIkids, to support at-risk youth. Joanne's educational background includes a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Political Science from Florida State University.
