Kristine Gallagher is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education, public speaking, and community service. Currently holding the position of Red Cross Certified Professional Lifeguard at YMCA, Vice President of Membership at Toastmasters International, and a Freelance Writer on Medium, Kristine also serves as an MSLE Practitioner at the Children’s Dyslexia Center of Madison, where lessons are tailored for children with dyslexia. As a Standup Comedian affiliated with Comedy on State and a dedicated volunteer with Special Olympics, Kristine has actively supported athletes in bowling and swimming. Additionally, Kristine works as a Certified Peer Resource Specialist with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, aiding individuals in recovery. Formerly a teacher with the Madison Metropolitan School District and a Cooperating Teacher at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Kristine holds a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with a Math Minor from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
