Satori Butler is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in advocacy and housing stability. Currently serving as a Housing Stability Specialist at the Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle and as CEO of Voice of Resilience since June 2018, Satori Butler also holds the position of Lead Organizer at the Washington Community Action Network. Additionally, Satori Butler has worked as a lobbyist for Waypoint Consulting Group, LLC, and the Human Services Justice League, focusing on various clientele within the Washington State Legislature. Satori Butler’s earlier experience includes a legislative intern role at the Washington State Senate, which involved comprehensive legislative research and constituent engagement. Satori Butler earned a Bachelor of Arts in Pre-Law Studies from Eastern Washington University in 2017.

The Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle (ULMS) is an affiliate of the National Urban League. We have an 80-year history of providing community-based services to African Americans and other disadvantaged people throughout Seattle and King County. Our mission statement is: Through public advocacy, providing services and developing strong business and community partnerships, the Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle will strive to empower, enable and assist African-Americans, other people of color and disadvantaged individuals in becoming self-sufficient. We accomplish our mission by providing educational support, housing and financial counseling, employment resources, and services to minority-owned small businesses.
