Tony Hernandez

Tony Hernandez is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in journalism and media management. Currently serving as the Communications Manager at the Urban League of Portland since December 2021, Hernandez previously held the same title at the Oregon Environmental Council from August 2017 to July 2020. Prior reporting roles include Breaking News Reporter at The Oregonian, City Hall Reporter at the Knoxville News Sentinel, and County Reporter at Northwest Arkansas Newspapers LLC. Hernandez's editorial expertise was further developed as Managing Editor at The Southwest Times and Education Reporter at the Rio Grande Sun.
