Sharlotte Johnson M.ed (Shay)

Sharlotte "Shay" Johnson, M.ED, is an experienced professional currently serving as a Career and Transfer Development Specialist at Dallas College since March 2022 and also holds the title of Career and Transfer Skills Development Specialist at the El Centro Campus. As the Founder and CEO of Opulent Public Relations & Event Management since June 2011, Sharlotte has successfully managed a firm that offers a range of services including public relations, event management, and entrepreneurship coaching. Additional roles include Realtor at Urban Luxe Properties since March 2023, and previously as Chief Operating Officer at AvenuPR and Chief Executive Officer at The S.A.J. Group. Sharlotte’s background includes over 15 years in employee relations and HR at Dallas Independent School District, where procedures for fair employee treatment were implemented. Sharlotte's educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Educational Leadership and Administration from Texas A&M University-Commerce and a BA in Communications/Public Relations from Prairie View A&M University.
