Camelle Tatum Carson

Camelle Tatum Carson, PMP, SPC, RTE has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Camelle started their career as a Program Manager/Executive Assistant at Burson-Marsteller, where they managed client accounts and assisted in strategic planning. Camelle later owned and operated Tomorrow's Promise Childcare, overseeing all aspects of business operations and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Camelle then worked as a Long Term Substitute Teacher at Prince George's County Public Schools, providing quality instruction and maintaining a respectful learning environment. Camelle also served as the Owner and Chief Operations Officer at Royal Life Transportation, where they supervised projects and managed logistics. In their most recent role at Capital One, Camelle worked as a Technical Program Manager/ RTE/ Agile Delivery Lead/ Tech College Instructor/ Gosu, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define program requirements and manage technical compliance. Camelle is currently the Director of Technology Program Management at Urban One, Inc.

Camelle Tatum Carson has a rich education history. Camelle attended Bowie State University from 1989 to 1991, where they studied Mass Communication/Media Studies. Later, from 2007 to 2009, they pursued further education at Ashford University and obtained a degree in Education. Currently, they are pursuing a Bachelor of Science - BS degree at the University of Phoenix, specializing in Business and Management, from 2022 to 2024. In addition to their formal education, Carson has also obtained numerous certifications throughout their career. These include the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, earned in 2023. Camelle is also a Reflective Problem Solver and a Reflective Decision Maker, certifications obtained from the University of Phoenix in 2022. Additionally, they hold certifications such as ICAgile Certified Professional - Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC) from ICAgile, Certified SAFe 4.6 Program Consultant, and Certified Safe Release Train Engineer from Scaled Agile, Inc. Camelle also holds the PACE - Professional Administrator Certification of Excellence from The American Society of Administrative Professionals, attained in 2016. Furthermore, they have completed the SAFe Agilist 4.0 certification from Scaled Agile Academy and the Scrum Master Certification from Scrum Alliance.
