Jose Lorenzana

Jose "Hollywood Zay" Lorenzana currently serves as the Assistant Program Director at Urban One, Inc. since June 2023 and has been with Radio One since June 2017, contributing as On Air Talent/Mixer at KBFB 97.9 THE BEAT and previously as Production Assistant for various radio stations. With extensive experience in the radio industry, Jose has handled commercial production, collaborated with program directors on station promos, and operated live shows including nationally syndicated programs. Prior roles include Quality Assurance Specialist at Reach Media Inc. and Sales Consultant at Toyota of Richardson, demonstrating a solid background in both broadcasting and sales management. Jose holds an Associate in Science degree in Broadcasting from the New England Institute of Art.
