Laura Clark

SVP, Political & Governmental Sales at Urban One

Laura Clark has been working in the political and government sales field for over 20 years. Laura started their career as a Senior Account Manager at Bonneville International, where they specialized in play-by-play sales for the Washington Nationals baseball team. From there, they went on to become the Director of Non-Traditional Revenue for WWDC, WTEM, WWRC, and WTNT. In this role, they were responsible for generating revenue for the stations through non-traditional means such as idea selling.

In 2007, Laura made the move to CBS Radio, where they served as the Director of Political & Government Affairs. In this role, they developed political and advocacy revenue for local and national accounts, created political and issue rate cards for a cluster of six stations in Washington D.C., and spearheaded political task forces for account managers.

Laura is currently the SVP of Political & Governmental Sales at Urban One. In this role, they are responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to grow Urban One’s political and government sales business.

Laura Clark attended Westminster College in Pennsylvania and then Wesmont.

They work with John Soller - VP, Engineering, Karen Wishart - EVP, Chief Administrative Officer, and Michelle Rice - President, TV One & Cleo TV. Laura Clark reports to Alfred C. Liggins, III, CEO.
