Tamisha Macklin has extensive experience in youth services and housing navigation, currently serving as the Lead Life Skills Manager at Urban Peak since March 2016. In this role, Tamisha supervises youth and staff at housing programs, focusing on enhancing self-efficacy, reducing risky behaviors, and maintaining a safe environment. Previous positions include Housing Navigator, where responsibilities involved assisting clients with housing searches and applications, and Pathways Navigator/Case Manager at Elevating Connections Inc. Additionally, Tamisha co-founded and serves as Program Manager for Leaders of Advocacy, and has held roles as a Youth/Young Adult Consultant and Community Outreach Worker. Tamisha earned a Bachelor of Science in Cross-systems Youth Services from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
