Drew Messer is the co-founder and CEO of Urban SDK. Drew has over eight years of experience in political campaigning and government affairs.

Drew started their career as the Florida Political Director for Romney for President, where they managed a team of 20 political operatives and helped the campaign adopt effective strategies that were later used nationwide. Drew also built relationships with elected officials, community leaders and voters, and planned and executed statewide events and activities.

After the campaign, Drew worked as the Senior Government Director for Republic Services Inc, where they were responsible for designing, building and managing the local and state government affairs agenda for a $500M business unit. During their time there, they maintained and grew a $175M municipal line of business, created and implemented strategies to privatize municipal contracts, and managed 9 Municipal Representatives and 11 lobbying firms throughout the region.

In 2016, Drew left Republic Services Inc to start Urban SDK with the goal of providing software solutions to help cities become more efficient and effective. Under their leadership, Urban SDK has become one of the leading software providers for city governments, with clients in over 20 states.
