Dean Dipietro

Dean DiPietro is an experienced product designer with a background in mechanical engineering from the University of Toronto. Currently serving as a Product Designer in Residence at URBAN-X since 2016, Dean provides design and mentorship to startups focused on urban technology and products. As the founder of techHouse design studio since 2005, Dean specializes in consumer product design, while also leading We Have The Night, which creates custom lighting solutions for events and nightclubs. Additionally, Dean curates and restores custom bicycles at Brooklyn Comp and has previously mentored startups at Food-X. With prior experience as a partner at Tomorrow Lab and product engineer roles at OXO and Newman Engineering, Dean brings a wealth of knowledge to the field of design and technology.
