John Gutzmer

John Gutzmer is an experienced information technology leader with a strong background in educational institutions. Currently serving as Chief Information Officer for Urbana School District #116 since December 2020, John previously held the position of Director of Information Systems and Network Security at Champaign Unit 4 Schools from June 2016 to December 2020. Prior to that, John was Manager of Infrastructure at Wolfram Research from April 2009 to June 2016. John holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in General Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, completed in 2001 and 1999, respectively.
