Dr. Sai Ram Reddy

Sai Ram Reddy is the current Chief Scientific Officer at UrbanKisaan. Dr. was previously a Professor of Molecular Biology at Agri Biotech Foundation - India from April 2016 to October 2017. From August 2013 to May 2015, they were the GM & Head - Biotechnology, Vegetable Research at J.K. Agri Genetics. Ltd. From October 2017 to July 2019, they were the Vice President - Technology and Business Development at Tidas Agrotech Pvt Ltd. From May 2004 to August 2013, they were the DGM - Biotechnology at J.K. Agri Genetics Ltd.

Dr. Sai Ram Reddy received their post doctoral research in plant biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and a PG diploma in intellectual property law with a focus on patents from the National Academy of Legal Studies & Research (NALSAR) University Hyderabad. Dr. then did post doctoral research at the University of Delaware before completing their doctorate in plant biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Science - Bangalore & SV University, Tirupathi. Dr. also holds an Executive Business Management degree from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and a certification from Harvard University in entrepreneurship in emerging economies.
