Søren Riis

Søren Riis has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Søren is currently serving as the Director of Studies in Philosophy and Science Studies at Roskilde University, a position they have held since August 2020. Søren is also an Associate Professor of Philosophy at the same institution, which they started in February 2008.

Prior to their academic roles, Søren Riis co-founded GoMore in 2005. Søren also holds the position of Investor and Advisor at Bjergegaard & Co. starting from January 2022. Additionally, they are the Founder of UrbanWineBox since December 2015.

Søren Riis has contributed to various organizations in different capacities. Søren is a Board Member of Golden Days since 2018. Søren served as a Member of the Counsel for Sharing Economy at the Ministry of Industry, Business, and Financial Affairs from January 2019 to 2020. Moreover, they were an Associate Partner at the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies from 2003 to April 2019.

Furthermore, Søren Riis has demonstrated their expertise in the field of transport and housing as an Expert Board Member for the Future of Mobility at the Ministry of Transport, Building, and Housing from June 2017 to March 2018.

Søren Riis pursued their higher education by completing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Philosophy from The University of Freiburg between 2003 and 2007. Prior to that, they studied Philosophy at the University of Tübingen from 1997 to 2001. No specific degree was mentioned for their education at the University of Tübingen.
