Christopher Barry has over 30 years of work experience in various roles within the logistics and transportation industry. Christopher most recently served as the Vice President of Business Development at Urchin Systems, where they were responsible for accelerating the company's penetration into the Logistics, Supply Chain, and Digital transformation software markets. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Business Development at the same company, where they played a key role in establishing relationships with logistics and supply chain leaders.

Before joining Urchin Systems, Barry held the position of Director of Logistics Operations New England at Edward J. Zarach & Associates, Inc., where they managed domestic and international logistics operations, including customer service initiatives and P&L management. Christopher also received export/import compliance training during their tenure.

Barry's experience also includes working as the Director of Operations for OCEANAIR Inc., where they managed and negotiated transportation contracts with steamship, airline, and ground transportation providers. Christopher was responsible for all operations hiring, training, and customer service initiatives.

Prior to that, Barry worked as a Logistics/Finance Analyst at Triumvirate Environmental, where they led an operations team tasked with assessing the feasibility of implementing an industry-first export program. Christopher also worked with key accounts to set up JOC processes to facilitate cash flow and new business.

Barry's career began in 1996 when they founded Rock International Transport, where they managed air freight forwarding and NVOCC operations for European Gateway. Christopher was responsible for developing sales initiatives, sales marketing, and growing the customer base through data mining, cold calling, and industry contacts. Before founding Rock International Transport, Barry served as the Managing Director at the same company from 1994 to 2009.

Earlier in their career, Barry worked as the Branch Manager/NVOCC Gateway Manager at Kamden International Shipping, where they oversaw branch operations and gateway management.

Overall, Christopher Barry has a strong background in business development, operations management, and international logistics, with extensive experience in the transportation industry.

Christopher Barry attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they studied U.W.W. / Business Administration. Christopher did not obtain a specific degree during their time at the university. Additionally, in March 1995, they obtained a certification in Ocean Transportation Intermediary from the Federal Maritime Commission.
