Johan Broersma

Johan Broersma has a diverse range of work experience starting from 1993 to the present day. Johan has held various roles in different companies, showcasing their strong financial and project management skills. In their most recent position at URENCO Nederland, they are the Lead Project Controller, leading a team and providing support to project delivery. Prior to that, they worked as the Manager Finance and ICT at de Haan Machinefabriek B.V., where they handled financial administration, budgeting, and improvement projects. Johan also served as the Finance Manager/Project Controller at Proqraft b.v., contributing to liquidity management and financial reporting. Johan's earlier experience includes roles as the Global (business & project) controller at AWL-Techniek Holding, Project Control Manager/Project Manager at Wärtsilä Netherlands B.V., and Project controller/Business analyst at Wärtsilä Nederland b.v. (Service division), among others. Throughout their career, Johan has demonstrated their ability to manage budgets, improve financial operations, and lead project teams.

Johan Broersma holds a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from Open University Netherlands, Heerlen, which they obtained from 2005 to 2010. Prior to that, they pursued Innovation Sciences for Mechanical Engineering at Technical University Eindhoven from 1992 to 1993, although they did not complete the degree. Johan also holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Windesheim, which they completed from 1986 to 1990. Johan completed their pre-university education at Menso Alting College Hoogeveen, graduating with a VWO diploma in 1980 after studying Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, German, English, and Dutch. In terms of additional certifications, Johan obtained Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2015, Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification in March 2014, and Veiligheids Checklist Aannemers (VCA) certification from STE examenbureau BV in October 2005.
