Melodie Turk has over 14 years of work experience, starting in 2007 as a Senior Manager at Providence Health & Services. In this role, they led various initiatives resulting in cost savings and improved productivity. From 2017 to 2020, they worked as a Regional Learning & Development Manager at Goodwill of the Olympics & Rainier Region, where they developed a multi-year strategy and implemented a performance management program. Currently, Melodie is the Director of Learning Experience at the Urgent Care Association, where they are responsible for designing and executing learning strategies and launching a new learning e-commerce experience.

Melodie Turk completed a Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Providence, from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Studies (BAS) degree in Organization and Leadership from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, which they attended from 2015 to 2016. In 2013 to 2014, Melodie earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree from Madison Area Technical College. The Urgent Care Association (UCA) is a membership association for Urgent Care health and management professionals, clinics and those who support the Urgent Care industry. Founded in 2004, UCA represents over 4,000 Urgent Care centers throughout the United States and abroad. UCA provides educational programs in clinical care and practice management, has a monthly Journal of Urgent Care Medicine and maintains an active online presence and member community for daily exchange of best practices. UCA provides leadership, learning, and resources for the successful practice of Urgent Care for its members.
