Colleen Shanahan

Colleen Shanahan has spent her legal career in executive roles in the healthcare field advising and representing clients and providing corporate legal, regulatory and compliance services in a variety of health sectors including managed care, diagnostic, pharmaceutical and outpatient services companies. She leads Urgent Team’s legal activities, as well as the Information Privacy and Security Management program and the Corporate Integrity program. Prior to joining Urgent Team, Shanahan served as Legal Counsel and Compliance Officer for a diagnostic imaging company, and was VP, Corporate Integrity Officer for PhyCor, Inc., a physician practice and physician network management company. Additionally, she was lead operational and development counsel for the company’s IPA management service company, responsible for negotiating joint venture contracts, including the joint venture with New York and Presbyterian Hospitals Care Network. Shanahan graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln and earned a Juris Doctorate degree from Creighton University in Nebraska.
