John W. Reel

John W. Reel has more than 16 years of healthcare experience in finance, operations, implementation, and strategic planning. He has served across many diverse healthcare service lines including outpatient surgery centers, inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, and outpatient rehabilitation services. Reel’s experience includes joint venture partnerships with both short-term acute care hospitals and physician partnerships. Prior to joining Urgent Team in 2017, he served as Chief Executive Officer for the Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Arlington, a Kindred Healthcare/Texas Health Resources/Methodist Health System joint venture, where he opened and operated the hospital.

Reel is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Tennessee Tech University. He also earned a master’s degree in Accounting from Belmont University, where he is currently an adjunct accounting instructor.
