Brian Buhrer

Brian Buhrer is a Physician Assistant at Urology Austin, specializing in men's health, prostate issues, and advanced prostate cancer since January 2022. Brian is skilled in various procedures, including pellet insertion, bladder Botox injections, and biopsies. Prior to this role, Brian served as a Physician Assistant Graduate Student at UT Health San Antonio and worked as a Laboratory Technician at Biolife Plasma Services, where responsibilities included processing and storing plasma. Additionally, Brian co-founded an outreach program for veterans at the UT Veteran Association. Brian's earlier experience includes serving as a Team Leader for the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team in the United States Air Force. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from The University of Texas at Austin and an Associate's degree from the Community College of the Air Force.
