Daniel Saltzstein

Medical Director, Principal Investigator at Urology San Antonio

Daniel Saltzstein started their work experience in 1992 as a Urologist and partner at Urology San Antonio, where they provided medical and surgical care to adult male and female patients for all urologic diagnoses. Daniel also served as a board member and directed Urology San Antonio's clinical trials division. In 1996, they became the Medical Director and Principal Investigator for Urology San Antonio Research, where they provided executive leadership and oversight for medical care delivered through their clinical trials division. Additionally, they held a position as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Urology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

Daniel Saltzstein has an extensive education history. Daniel began their academic journey in 1978 at Carleton College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, which they obtained in 1982. Following their undergraduate studies, they attended UT Health San Antonio from 1982 to 1986 and earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.

After completing their medical degree, Daniel Saltzstein pursued further specialization in the field of surgery. Daniel enrolled in the Surgical Residency program at The University of Texas Medical Branch from 1986 to 1988. Following this, they continued their residency training in the Urology Residency Program at the same institution from 1988 to 1992.

In addition to their formal education, Daniel Saltzstein has also obtained additional certifications. Daniel is a Diplomate of the American Board of Urology, which they achieved in 1994.
