Staff Test Engineer at Ursa Major

Eric Miller began their work experience in 2014 as an Intern at Purdue Transportation Services. Eric then worked as a Structures Engineer Intern and a Service Engineering Intern at United Airlines in 2014. In 2016, they were a Project Engineer Intern at Orbital ATK. In 2017, they worked as an Engineering Intern at National Aerospace Solutions and as an Engineering Graduate Student Intern at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. In 2018, they served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Maurice J. Zucrow Laboratories. Since 2019, Eric has been working at Ursa Major, where they started as a Test Engineer and is currently serving as the Lead Test Engineer. Eric'sresponsibilities at Ursa Major include rocket engine testing, data analysis, designing and operating plumbing systems for test stands, component selection and procurement, training new operators, and interfacing with development engineers. Eric has also led a project to convert a test stand to accommodate a new engine.

Eric Miller attended Reitz Memorial High School from 2008 to 2012. Eric then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Aerospace Engineering at Purdue University from 2012 to 2017. Following their undergraduate studies, Eric Miller continued their education at Purdue University, graduating with a Master of Science (M.S.) in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from 2017 to 2019.
