Kevin Hexemer

Kevin Hexemer is a Senior FPGA Engineer at Ursa Major, responsible for developing FPGA solutions for rocket engines since November 2021. Prior to this role, Kevin worked as a Field-Programmable Gate Arrays Engineer at Amazon, focusing on FPGA solutions and supporting ASIC development for Project Kuiper. Kevin's experience includes serving as an Avionics Engineer at Blue Origin, where work involved developing RTL for New Shepard and New Glenn projects. Kevin began in the Engineering Leadership Development Program at BAE Systems, contributing to military flight control interface development and other technical projects. Additional roles include research assistant at Binghamton University and internships at Knolls Atomic Power Lab and PartyLite. Kevin holds both a Master's and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Binghamton University.
