Derek Edinger

Derek Edinger is the brewer and co-owner of Brewery Ardennes, located in the New York Finger Lakes region, where they focus on creating traditional Belgian-style beers. In addition to their brewing venture, Edinger serves as an advisor and consultant within the satellite remote sensing and data analytics industries. Previously, they were the Chief Strategy Officer and co-founder of Ursa Space, bringing over 25 years of aerospace management and engineering experience from their roles at Maxar Space Systems, Lockheed Martin Advanced Technology Center, and Raytheon. Edinger holds a B.S. in Agricultural and Biological Engineering and an M.Eng. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Cornell University.
