Justyna Kosianka has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Justyna started their career as a Software Developer at Virginia Tech in 2011. Justyna then worked as a Teaching Assistant at Columbia University, where they provided support for engineering graphics and computer animation courses. Justyna also worked as an Engineering Intern at Ysrael A. Seinuk P.C., where they gained experience in structural reliability testing and computational structural analysis. At Cornell University, Justyna served as a Graduate Research Assistant, developing a C-based software for fluid-structure interaction analysis and working on condition assessment of naval structural elements. Justyna also held multiple roles as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, assisting in concrete structure design courses and grading assignments. Currently, Justyna is working at Ursa Space Systems, where they have held multiple positions, including Research Scientist, Platform Analytics Lead, and Senior Scientist. In their current role as Analytics Team Manager, they oversee the analytics team. Throughout their career, Justyna has demonstrated expertise in areas such as geospatial 3D modeling, SAR data fusion, machine learning, and data analysis.

Justyna Kosianka holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Structural Engineering from Cornell University, which they obtained from 2013 to 2018. Prior to this, they completed their undergraduate studies at Columbia Engineering, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Structural Engineering from 2009 to 2013.

In addition to their academic achievements, Justyna Kosianka has also obtained several certifications. In June 2014, they received the certification of "Fundamentals of Engineering, (EIT)" from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES). Furthermore, in March 2020, they obtained the certification of "Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)" from the Scrum Alliance.
