Mark Gadson

Mark Gadson is the Interim VP for Advancement at Ursinus College. Prior to this, they were the Director of Development at Washington College from July 2009 to November 2011. Gadson has also held the position of Managing Director at SEI Investments from January 2002 to February 2009, where they were responsible for managing a national sales team and providing sales and service support to independent investment advisors across the United States. Gadson has also worked as a professional musician and as a Senior Institutional Business Development Officer/Senior Trust Officer at Phoenix Charter Oak Trust Company from June 1997 to January 2002. Gadson is also an Independent Consultant and has their own company, Gadson Philanthropic Services.

Mark Gadson has a BA in Music - Percussion Performance from DePauw University and is currently pursuing their field of study at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Mark Gadson reports to Jill Leauber Marsteller, Interim President. They are on a team with Robert Clothier - VP & General Counsel, Ava Willis-Barksdale - AVP for Advancement, and Gene Spencer - Chief Information Officer, Library & IT.
