Todd McKinney

Associate Dean, Student Life & Director, Student Activities at Ursinus College

Todd has been at Ursinus College for 24 years and currently serves as the Associate Dean of Students/Director of Leadership Development & Student Activities where he works with the UC Ambassador Program, New Student Orientation, Family Day, Greek Life, Clubs & Organizations, Student Governance (USGA, CAB, IGC, and AFAC), and Wismer Campus Center operations. A lifelong member of the Phi Kappa Sigma International Fraternity, Dean McKinney has served as a volunteer chapter advisor, regional director, and national officer.

Todd McKinney graduated from West Chester University in 1988 with a BA in Political Science and minors in Geography and Land Use Planning and in 1990 with an M.S. in Counseling (Higher Education). As an undergraduate student, Dean McKinney was heavily involved with the Campus Programming Board, served as a Resident Assistant and Orientation Assistant/Intern. While in graduate school, he oversaw a mentoring program for 200 middle & high school students in the Chester–Upland School District.

Dean McKinney resides in Collegeville with his wife, Marion and their two children, Taylor Madison and Morgan Tyler. He enjoys all things jazz, photography, comic books, anything involving the History Channels, and PBS programming. In addition, Dean McKinney volunteers as a coach with the Perkiomen Valley Youth Basketball organization and the Lower Perkiomen Little League.
