Ian Swoboda

Ian Swoboda is a seasoned professional in the recruiting and talent acquisition field, currently serving as a Technical Recruiting Manager at Ursus, Inc. since January 2024. Ian founded Swoboda Staffing, LLC in July 2021, providing consulting services tailored to organizations at various stages of their talent journey. Previously, Ian held the position of Director of Permanent Placement at Ursus, Inc. from October 2019 to June 2021, and as an Executive Technical Recruiter at EdgeLink from January 2015 to October 2019, where Ian achieved the fastest promotion to Executive status in the company's history. Ian's career also includes roles in business development and operations at APL, as well as experience in facility management and sports program coordination at Boise State University and Ohio University. Ian holds a Master’s degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Boise State University and a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management from Ohio University.
