Lauren Sokal

Lauren Sokal has a diverse work experience in the field of technical recruitment. Lauren currently works at MongoDB as a Lead Technical Recruiter, a role they have held since February 2022. Prior to this, they were a Senior Technical Recruiter at MongoDB from January 2021 to February 2022. Lauren began their career at MongoDB as a Technical Recruiter in July 2019 and worked in that role until January 2021. Before joining MongoDB, Lauren worked at Andiamo Partners from July 2016 to July 2019 as a Technical Recruiter & Account Manager, where they were responsible for full life cycle recruitment and placement of technology executives and professionals. Lauren actively recruited professionals in various technology areas and worked with top-tier firms and investment banks. Lauren also gained experience as a Program & Marketing Intern at Compass Pro Bono in 2015 and as a Summer Intern at North American Corporation in 2014.

Lauren Sokal completed their high school education at New Trier Township High School from 2008 to 2012. Lauren then pursued their undergraduate studies at Boston College from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International/Global Studies. Additionally, in 2015, Lauren Sokal briefly studied social sciences at The University of Hong Kong but did not obtain a degree from there.
