Kevin Muxlow

Kevin Muxlow is currently the Chief Operations Officer at URUS Group, where they oversee the Alta Genetics, Jetstream Genetics, SCCL, and VAS businesses. Kevin is responsible for building culture, strategy, and supporting growth within the URUS Group. Kevin also serves as the CEO of Alta Genetics, a position they have held since 2018. Prior to that, they held various roles within Alta Genetics, including Vice-President Sales for The Americas and Global Marketing Manager. Kevin has also served on the Board of Directors for SCCL and Valley Ag Software. Kevin began their career in the family business, Corner's Pride Farms & Muxlow Cattle Company. Additionally, Kevin has experience as the Director of Policy & Strategy at Alberta Barley and as the Executive Director of Grain Growers of Canada.

Kevin Muxlow has a diverse education history spanning several years. In 1991, they graduated from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) (Hons.) degree in Political Science and Government. Following this, in 2002-2003, they attended the Lang School of Business and Economics at the University of Guelph, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance & Marketing Strategy.

Continuing their pursuit of education, Kevin completed various executive education programs in different institutions. In 2006, they participated in an Executive Education program at the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, focusing on Strategic Account Management. In 2007, they underwent the Leadership Breakthrough 1 program at Rapport Leadership, enhancing their organizational leadership skills. In 2008, Kevin further broadened their knowledge in strategic sales management through an Executive Education program at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Kevin also completed a Power Communication program in organizational leadership at Rapport Leadership International.

Recent educational endeavors for Kevin include an Advanced Management Program (AMP) at the IESE Business School from 2019 to 2021. This program centered around executive leadership and strategy. Additionally, they engaged in executive education at Harvard Business School, exploring The Corporate Leader.
