Wahab Owolabi

Wahab Owolabi is the current Director, Head of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging at Duolingo, the leading mobile learning platform globally. In addition to their role at Duolingo, Wahab is the Founder of URx Conference, a platform for recruiters and developers of early career talent. Wahab is also a Member of the Board of Directors at Colorstack, which focuses on increasing diversity in tech for Black and Latinx students. Furthermore, Wahab is the Founder of OneReq, a community for talent acquisition and DEI professionals. Prior to their current roles, Wahab has held positions at companies such as Meta, Rubrik, Inc., and Andreessen Horowitz. Wahab's educational background includes a B.A. in Economics from Washington & Jefferson College.
