Sharon Lutz

Sharon Lutz has extensive experience in engineering and management, currently serving as the IEC SC 86B Working Group 6 Convenor for the International Electrotechnical Commission since April 2017, and has been a US expert since June 2008, receiving the IEC 1906 award in 2018. Lutz has held various positions, including Product Manager and Applications Engineer at US Conec Ltd. since June 2008, and Quality Manager at Baldor Electric Company, which was acquired by the ABB Group in June 2006. Previous roles include Quality Engineer at Rockwell Automation from May 2004 to December 2006 and multiple positions at US Conec Ltd. from March 1996 to December 2002. Lutz holds an MBA in Business Administration from Wake Forest University and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
