Becky Garnett

Becky Garnett has extensive experience in environmental science and water quality management at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), where positions since November 2008 have included Water Quality Standards and Assessment Section Manager and various roles focused on wetland protection, enforcement, and tribal relations. Garnett's responsibilities have involved overseeing compliance with the Clean Water Act, coordinating regional enforcement for PFAS, and managing multidisciplinary tribal programs in coordination with federally recognized tribes. Prior experience includes conducting research on organic contaminants in river systems at the University of Georgia, supported by advanced degrees in Environmental Science from The University of Georgia and The Ohio State University.
