Byron Ifediora, PhD, is currently employed as a Geospatial Computer Vision Analyst at Syngenta, where responsibilities include processing photogrammetric data for Digital Biological Assessments and creating field trial boundaries using Linux. Concurrently, Byron serves as an Information Technology Student-Trainee at the US Environmental Protection Agency, tracking publication data and co-authoring tutorials for Qlik Sense applications. Previously, at North Carolina State University, Byron worked as a Disaster Recovery Data Science Specialist, analyzing over 10,000 data points annually and extracting insights from unstructured data, and as a Graduate Student Research Assistant, developed geospatial regression models with high prediction accuracy and produced multiple cartographic maps.
