Casey McLaughlin serves as an Information Specialist and Regional Geospatial Lead at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) since January 2011, managing Geographic Information Systems and leading various data initiatives. Noteworthy contributions include the development of web applications for Superfund cleanup projects, the establishment of an internal geospatial website and blog, and the implementation of the National Report for State Implementation Plans tracking database. Casey has also co-chaired the EPA National GIS Workgroup, led agency-wide data visualization efforts, and has experience in managing GIS teams at JMA Information Technology. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Geography from the University of Kansas and a Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Social Studies, and History from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
