Drew Powell

Drew Powell currently serves as an Environmental Protection Specialist at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) since May 2024. Previously, Drew held the position of Climate Policy Analyst at Mass Audubon and was a Graduate Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, where responsibilities included implementing a Diversity Equity and Inclusion educational program and conducting research on air pollution dynamics in forest patches. Drew also worked as a Program Assistant for the Maryland Association for Environmental and Outdoor Education, an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Boston University investigating climate change effects on forests, and a Digital Research and Video Intern with NOVA. Drew holds a Master of Science in Geography and Environmental Systems from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a Bachelor's degree in Communications with a Minor in Biology from Boston University.
