Jake Ulrich

Jake Ulrich, Ph.D., currently serves as a Physical Scientist at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) since July 2023. Prior experience includes working as an ORISE Postdoctoral Fellow at the FDA from September 2022 to July 2023 and conducting research as a Graduate Student Researcher at Duke University from July 2017 to August 2022. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Science in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from Duke University, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a minor in Environmental Science and Policy from Union College. Additional roles have encompassed positions as a Minerva Mentor and various research and internship opportunities, including work at the Center for Environment and Community Research in Vietnam. Jake Ulrich also has experience in lifeguarding and customer service from earlier roles in community and college settings.
