Jerrett Fowler is a Physical Scientist at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) since June 2017, contributing to the Office of Pesticides Program within the Ecological Risk Assessment Branch. Responsibilities include conducting ecological risk assessments and developing expertise in the Clean Water Act and compensatory mitigation strategies. Prior to the EPA, Jerrett served as an ORISE Participant focusing on wetland data collection and analysis. Experience includes a Research Assistant role at Duke University, analyzing water samples from restoration sites, and an Environmental Planning Intern position at HNTB, performing wetland delineations. Jerrett’s research background also includes over 40 fieldwork trips while working at the Center for Restoration of Ecosystems and Watersheds at the University of Oklahoma. Academic qualifications include a Master of Environmental Management in Water Resources Management from Duke University and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from the University of Oklahoma.
