Joe Valdez

Joe Valdez is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education, conducting independent research under the guidance of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) since November 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences from October 2021 to November 2022, and as a Graduate Student at the University of California, Riverside from September 2016 to March 2022, where Joe earned a PhD in Neuroscience. Earlier roles involved student contracting for the EPA's Neurotoxicology Branch from 2014 to 2016, and conducting independent research as a Laboratory Assistant at the University of California, Riverside in 2014. Joe Valdez's foundational education includes a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience obtained from the University of California, Riverside, and prior studies in Biology at Riverside City College.
