Nihal Abbu

Nihal Abbu is currently serving in the Office of Digital Communications at the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as a Web & Social professional since February 2024. Prior experience includes functioning as a Teamship Consultant at District C from August 2022 to June 2023, collaborating with executives in various sectors such as health tech and nonprofit to enhance operational efficiency and growth opportunities. Nihal also interned at the Zakat Foundation of America from 2019 to 2022, focusing on community engagement and technology, and led projects aimed at enhancing nonprofit operations. Additional involvement includes participation as a team member in the Area 27 FRC Robotics Team at Duke University from 2019 to 2021. Education includes pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, with prior completion of a high school diploma from Research Triangle High School and ongoing studies at Wake Technical Community College.
